Dear Members,

This week saw a highly informative presentation by Vin Dattoli & Anthony Rocca from VIDA Footy to our coaches, assistant coaches, team managers & other officials. Whilst we believe we already have a great club, in the same manner we ask of our players, we always strive to do better. To achieve this our football department have been working with VIDA Footy to develop a football program that we hope will set us apart from other clubs and deliver our coaches the best support possible, so they can in turn develop our kids into the best footballers they can be, therefore enhancing their enjoyment and their longevity in the game. We welcome all of the VIDA footy team aboard as strategic partners of St Marys and thank them for their efforts thus far. Please check out their website at www.vidafooty.com.au for more info & resources.

You may have seen this week an email advertising the first of our big social events – Ladies Night 2015. Previous Ladies Nights have been hugely enjoyable & well attended events, and this year promises to be no different. As always there will be socialising, dancing, daiquiris and fantastic prizes & giveaways, as well as the annual fashion parade featuring some of the best dressed ladies at our club. Please get involved by purchasing your tickets via Try Booking: http://www.trybooking.com/HVAR or from behind the bar on a Sunday night – if you are able to purchase early it helps our organisers incredibly. Remember, what happens on ladies night stays on ladies night !

This Sunday Night is focused on our Under 14 & Under 15’s teams boys & girls.

Speeches: 6 PM – we will hear from our coaches on their year thus far
Kids Pizza – served free of charge for all players & siblings at 6:30.
Adult Meals – at the budget price of $10. Come down and feed the family for $20.
Raffles – a magnificent seafood platter donated by Fishi Business at Greensborough Plaza and the opportunity to win $250 cash in our joker jackpot.
Lucky balls – a number will be drawn out of the box and one player in attendance who wears that guernsey number this year will walk away with a $25 Rebel Sport voucher.

Next Sunday Night, 28th May will be an open night as we celebrate Indigenous Round and Reconciliation Week – more info to follow next week.
